Tankers and gas

The maritime autopilot for chemical tankers

Everything in the tanker pack, plus compatibility, tank cleaning and the Annex II records that CDI inspects. Every nomination is checked before it is accepted, and every cleaning is recorded as it happens.

In the chemical tanker pack

  • Each nomination checked against the certificate of fitness and the compatibility chart
  • Tank coating resistance and previous-cargo restrictions
  • Tank cleaning planner, with wall-wash results sent to the charterer
  • Cargo record book and prewash, with the surveyor's endorsement
  • CDI inspection readiness, observations and closure

14 features for chemical tankers, plus everything every ship type gets. Your colleagues:

A day in the life

Two seats, one day with Naavra

An illustrative day. The colleagues prepare and chase; people decide and sign.

Cargo operations manager, ashore

  1. 08:00
    A new nomination

Six grades for three ports. Each is checked against the certificate of fitness, the compatibility chart and the adjacent tanks and lines.

  2. 09:30
    A coating question

One grade is not on the coating maker's resistance list after the previous cargo. The planner proposes a different tank.

  3. 12:00
    Cleaning, costed

From previous to next cargo: the method, the steps, the time and the cost, and the charterer's instructions attached.

  4. 16:30
    Wall-wash results

Permanganate, hydrocarbon and chloride results came in by photo; the pass goes to the charterer.

Chief officer, on board

  1. 06:00
    Prewash

Prewash logged and the surveyor's endorsement captured in the cargo record book.

  2. 10:15
    Inhibitor watch

The inhibitor certificate is valid; temperature limits and the polymerisation risk are on the watch list with alerts.

  3. 14:40
    Samples

Samples at each stage, with seal numbers and retention dates.

  4. 18:30
    Slops

Slop tank decanting recorded and the reception facility's receipt filed.

On every voyage

What every ship type gets

The voyage, performance and records work that tankers, gas carriers, container ships, breakbulk, Ro-Ro and offshore wind vessels all share.

Emissions and performance

  • Emissions ledgerCO2, methane and nitrous oxide per voyage from fuel and bunker records; EU ETS, FuelEU, UK ETS and IMO DCS figures, split by charter-party clause, with a CII forecast.
  • Speed and consumption claimsNoon reports against the charter-party warranty after good-weather filtering, with a claim or defence pack per voyage.
  • Hull and propeller performancePerformance loss trended; cleaning and polishing scheduled on evidence; the biofouling record book.

Reports and evidence

  • Noon and event reports by voiceThe Master speaks or photographs the noon data; the report fills itself, is checked against the last one and goes to the charterer.
  • Voyage evidence bundleOrders, logs, weather, automation exports and photos, indexed and time-stamped per voyage, ready for a dispute or a P&I claim.
  • Cargo claims packShortage, contamination or damage claims built from cargo records, photos and survey reports.

Questions

About Naavra for chemical tankers

Is the tanker pack included?

A chemical tanker needs everything in the tanker pack, so the planner adds it with the chemical pack and says why.

Does it decide whether we accept a cargo?

It checks the nomination and shows you what it found. People accept cargo; the check makes sure nothing is missed.

Can the charterer see the wall-wash result?

Yes. The pass or fail, with its photos, goes to the charterer on a link you control.

Does it cover CDI?

Yes. The CDI questionnaire sections, with evidence linked from the record, observations and closure.
